The Fitter trade trains students in precision metalwork and mechanical assembly. Over two years, trainees gain hands-on experience with cutting, filing, drilling, welding, and machine operations. The program develops both practical skills and technical knowledge for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and components.
Bench fitting, sheet-metal work, welding, and lathe operations.
Precision measurement and tolerance control.
Maintenance of drilling, sawing, grinding, and lathe machines.
Fabrication of fixtures, gauges, and assemblies.
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic system assembly & testing.
Workshop science, engineering drawing & safety management.
The training program combines classroom theory, workshop practice, and employability modules.
Passed 10th Grade with Science & Mathematics (or equivalent)
